On the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N
Stamper numbers: 7/AHM & 2/AMD

Labels: EXCELLENT
Both are clean & vibrant with just some light spindle trails to each centre-hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both sides of this fine copy are bright & glossy with no significant marks or blemishes visible in strong daylight. Close & careful inspection directly under my powerful halogen light reveals just a sparkling rainbow shine together with a few minor hairlines & inner-sleeve removal marks, but certainly nothing major. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: VERY GOOD +
This copy has received a moderate amount of careful play and is without any major deterioration to the sound quality. Some intermittent light background is audible on some of the quieter passages and between tracks most notably on side 1, but side 2 plays better. There are no clicks, pops or any other significant audible faults.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
A superb clean & solid example with a super clean & gloss front panel laminate which bears no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing. There is a slight bruise to the lower left corner but all others all clean & square. Apart from a few tiny 'pushes' to the opening edges, both are sharp & clean with no tears or feathering to either. The rear panel is perfectly clean, white & spotless. All flipbacks are in perfect shape and apart from a 1 cm loose piece of laminate to the lower seam, both are undamaged. The spine is of course clean, white and fully worded.
Inner-sleeve
NEAR MINT
Clean & wite with slight storagewear wrinkling but otherwise this is 'as new'.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
