Description
Offered is "Help!" by The Beatles.
This is a very scarce 1968 MONO issue on the ORIGINAL Capitol Rainbow label, MAS-2386.
Beginning in 1967 ALL U.S. record companies ceased issuing MONO records in favor of the increasingly popular STEREO LP's.
Because of this MONO U.S. LP's issued in 1968 are harder to find and vastly more collectible, thus enjoying a higher value.
Case in point, The Doors Self titled LP.... Elvis Presley's "Speedway" LP.... Simon & Garfunkel's "Bookends."
This issue of The Beatles' "Help!" tops the list of the above mentioned '68 MONO's!
This is an L.A. manufactured LP with the * symbol found in the dead wax area.
The labels are Jacksonville.
The record is housed in an authentic Jacksonville inner sleeve....PE12-4BJ.
Jacksonville labels are distinguished by the some what "fuzzier" print.
The issue has the title and artist printed in a tight lettering pattern only seen on Jacksonville label variations.

VG++ Sound & Surface!
Labels: VG++ / Near Mint.
Cover: VG / VG+, with all seams intact. Light shelf wear.
