Description

Beatles Help! Capitol Release Mono and Stero versions! Ebbetts DESS!.
Offered here are the Mono and Stereo versions of The Beatles American Release Help!  Very different from the U.K. release, as some of you know.
Quoting Dr. Ebbetts, who pioneered this special release.  What you are listening to is the original 1960's Capitol mixes, not the inferrior digital recording.  For some, this is the sound of your childhood!

"To start, I am offering the American versions of theBeatles' original LP catalogue on Compact Disc. The intent was to replicate, asclosely as possible, the original LP issues in CD form, inclusive of theoriginal artwork and the original mixes. To that end, I am offering thesetitles in this format. It is, essentially, the creation (or recreation) theCapitol catalogue on CD as well as the vast majority of the VeeJay titles. These issues are what I would envision the actual commercial versions of thismaterial to look like had they been officially released by Capitol/EMI.

As far as the sound quality of the music is concerned, the material itself is as good, if not better, than any I have heard on CompactDisc meant to replicate these titles. The material itself comes from two mainsources - either original reel to reel tapes or original virgin vinyl. Each andevery CD I offer has been verified to have the CORRECT mixes - not justcompilations of the correct titles in the correct order taken from othersources. This is MOST important to the integrity of the Dr. Ebbetts name.

The reason these titles were created in the first placewas because in so many instances, incorrect mixes were being used in variousreleases said to be authentic replications of the original American catalogue.

However, what I believe truly sets these issues apartfrom other like discs is the artwork. The original Capitol/EMI designs arefaithfully reproduced in crisp color and detail. Unlike many issues that existof the same material, these discs feature artwork that is not blurred byscanning or cheap low-quality inkjet printing. They are printed at no less than300dpi on high gloss professional paper.

The discs themselves are made to replicate"store-bought" discs. There is no tint whatsoever on the data side. They are true silver CDRs. Also, these discs do not have paper labelling. Thetext is printed directly on the disc via thermal ink transfer, giving it that"store-bought" look, like the commercial issues of The Beatles'material. The ink used in the disc-printing is HIGHLY scratch resistant. Evenwith substantial "abuse" the ink stays put. (It's been tested, believe me!)

Again, they are intended to replicate the originalreleases."

Long out-of-print.  Unavailable anywhere!
