CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT +

An extremely clean, bright & unblemished pair with just a handful of light spindle trails around the side 1 centre hole and even less around 2.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Both playing surfaces are extremely clean & retain all of their deep-gloss shines with the only visual blemishes in strong daylight being a small handful of light but harmless surface marks on side 2, but no scratches anywhere. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a sparkling rainbow shine together with a few wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal but no additional marks or wear. Both sides of this high-quality, heavy copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: EXCELLENT +

A surprisingly difficult album to find in this audible state. However, this copy is definitely a cut above the rest having clearly received just a small number of careful plays on good quality equipment. My single careful playcheck at volume uncovered no evidence of any groove/play wear to any track and definitely no clicks, pops or any other such interference - even on the masterful mono mix of 'Yesterday'. In fact, apart from a touch of light/normal background between tracks, there really is very little to fault here.

Cover

EXCELLENT

A super, unworn example which has been correctly stored in a clean, non-smoking environment this past 45 years. The front panel is bright & clean with just four small 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the opening edge and a few light storage scratches but no other significant signs of wear. All corners are free from any heavy bumps or bruising and there is just a hint of wear to the rear opening edge. The rear panel is clean & unblemished with no marks, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean & fully intact and both seams and the spine are all smooth, unstressed and undamaged.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

Clean & crisp with a few minor storage bends but no writing, tears or seam splits.
