1965 UK *1st MONO* PRESSING LP
**OUTSTANDING COPY**
This fine 1965 UK 1st MONO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.
Housed in a thick card, front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper numbers: 9/GDL & 7/LL
Disc weight: 157g
Visual: EXCELLENT PLUS
Both surfaces are extremely bright, clean and glossy and are totally unmarked & in 'MINT' condition when viewed in daylight, retaining their full deep gloss shines with no cloudy or dull areas.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just some wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines, but no other signs of wear whatsoever.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
This copy has recieved just a few careful plays and as a result, all tracks play cleanly and clearly with no groovewear distortion or background noise.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently and there are no clicks, pops or any other significant or major signs of wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
An outstanding example of this easily damaged cover. It is is clean, firm and white with no age discolouration or any other significant signs of wear.
The front panel retains an unscratched, high-gloss laminate bearing just a single 'thumbnail' crease towards the opening edge, but no spine bends.
Both opening edges are totally unworn and the corners are all clean & square with just minor bruising to the right two, but no heavy 'bumps'.
The rear panel is pristine & white with no age spots, discolouration, marks, wiriting or missing paper.
All flipbacks are in-place & intact and both seams & the spine are undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT PLUS
Crisp & flat with just minor storagewear & toning, but no splits, tears or writing.
