1965 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT**
This true NEAR MINT UK 1965 1st STEREO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' texts & have 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
An 'MT' tax/price code is embossed in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a MINT front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse printed cover with an outlined 'stereo' front logo.
Complete with its original rice paper lined 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper numbers: 2/OR & 2/OD
Disc weight: 153g

A wonderful set with just a single light spindle trail to each.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate 'as new' surfaces which are totally unmarked in strong daylight & bear just one or two barely visible inner-sleeve removal wispy paper hairlines beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
The are absolutely no marks or scratches on this pristine copy which looks as good as it did the day it was first purchased 43 year ago.
Both sides of this thick, heavy disc lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs or dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This copy has received just a single careful play by its original owner on top quality equipment & sounds completely 'as new' throughout today with no traces of any audible faults or wear.
The sound is clean, warm & clear on every track with no traces of groovewear or background noise anywhere.
Both run-ins & all bands play without interference & there are no clicks, pops or other audible wear.
N.B. I never grade anything played - even once - as 'MINT'
This copy represents the final upgrade in any reference/archive collection.

This oustanding example is an early, thick card example & has remained carefully stored since purchase, appearing today in virtually the same condition as the day it was bought.
The front panel is in perfect condition with no wear or creasing to the high-gloss laminate whatsoever. There are no wrinkles or 'thumbnails' to any part of it.
(The tiny black dot under the 'H' in the upper left corner area, is under the laminate and is not damage or wear.)
The spine is totally unbent and remarkably all four corners are in perfect condition with no bruising or bumping.
Both opening edges are clean & sharp and the back panel is totally pristine white and unmarked.
In fact, apart from a tiny bruise to the lower right corner on the rear, this is a perfect example and will not require upgrading.
Inner-sleeve: MINT
Apart from a few inevitable light wrinkles, this is 100% 'as new' with no toning, splits, tears or writing.
