CONDITION
Disc
Labels: NEAR MINT
A truely pristine pair with no wear to either hole and just two light spindle marks on each label.
Visual: EXCELLENT + 2. NEAR MINT
This disc has barely been outside of its cover since purchase 45 years ago. Both playing surface appear unmarked & 'as new' on initial inspection in strong daylight. However, I have downgraded side 1 slightly due to a few small dull blemishes on side 1 from long-term inner-sleeve storage. Close and careful examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than just a small number of wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no scratches or other signs of wear whatsoever. Both sides of this fine copy lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This immaculate sounding copy has truely received only one or two careful plays on high-end equipment, ever. The sound is perfectly clean, warm & clear on every track and all is 'as new'. My careful play check at volume found absolutely no evidence whatsoever of any groove/play wear or any background noise on or between any song. Even the delicate 'Yesterday' played perfectly with no crackle, clicks or pops here or anywhere. I guarantee you won't be disappointed with the audio on this copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
An extremely bright & clean example of this easily blemished cover which retains an excellent 'whiteness' having been stored in a non-smoking environment all its life. The front panel is bright & glossy with just a tiny spot above Paul's hand which is under the laminate. There is just a single tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkle towards the opening edge, but no other traves of wear there. There is some light shelfwear bruising to the lower corners but both opening edges are undamaged. the rear panel is perfectly clean & white - free from any marks, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are fully intact and both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed and unworn.
Inner-sleeve
NEAR MINT
Clean, white & crisp & unworn with just a faint disc impression but no writing, tears or seam splits.
