THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This outstanding UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial August 1965 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK....' text and 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 4/MM & 4/GPR
Vinyl weight: 149g
Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover & original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex..' inner-sleeve.

A sparkling set with just a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving desk lamp reveals nothing little more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal & a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this extremely well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This copy has received just a handful of careful plays on excellent equipment and as a result there is no trace of any groove/playwear on any track or in either channel. Every track is also free from any background crackle (including the masterful mono mix of 'Yesterday') or any clicks, pops or other such distraction. In fact, apart from a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks, there really is nothing to fault on this great sounding copy.

A truly 1st-class example which has been correctly stored in a clean, non-smoking environment these past 47 years.
The easily blemished front panel is perfectly clean & white with an unscratched and unworn high-gloss laminate, bearing just a single small 'thumbnail' wrinkle towards its opening edge.
There are tiny bruises to the left corners but both opening edges are in perfect razor-sharp unworn condition.
The exposed rear panel is pristine clean & white with no trace of wear to any part. All flipbacks are fully intact and clean & both seams are smooth & unstressed.
The spine is clean & unworn with just four small wrinkles, but the text is is perfect shape.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean, crisp & flat with no writing, tears or seam splits.
