THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This fine UK STEREO pressing dates from c.1967 on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3071

Both labels OMIT the 'Sold in UK...' text but have 'The Gramophone Co...' rims

There is an asterisk on the label positioned before the 'I Need You' title, which on 1965 1st pressings it came after

The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label

Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1

Stamper codes: 3/OM & 4/ML

Vinyl weight: 145g

Housed in a front laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover complete with original black & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve

This copy was originally exported to the U.S.A. and comes with its original shop cover with 'English Import 6.98' price sticker

Labels: EXCELLENT +

A clean & unworn pair with a few paper wrinkles from manufacture on label 1 & some faint spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine and are, apart from a single 1cm non-feelable surface mark on side 2, unmarked in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines & a sparkling rainbow shine.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +

This great sounding copy has received minimal, careful play on good equipment and is free from any groove/playwear distortion throughout. My playcheck detected little more than some light vinyl background between tracks and faintly during 'Yesterday', but no clicks, pops or any other audible distractions on this well looked after copy.

Cover: EXCELLENT

Protected all it's life by its original shop outer cover, this fine example has remained clean & white. The striking front panel retains a unscratched, unworn high-gloss laminate bearing just two small 'thumbnail' wrinkles. There is slight shelfwear bruising to the lower corners but none to the upper two or is there any significant wear to either opening edge. The exposed rear panel is clean with fully intact & unworn flipabacks.

Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is unworn & perfectly worded.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & uncreased with minor age-toning only

Our grading is strict & conservative grading in strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
Each record is professionally & securely packaged in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
