1968 UK *STEREO* PRESSING LP
**SUPERB EX + COPY**
This barely played 1967 UK 1968 STEREO pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
The 1968 'KJT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed 'outline' stereo cover.
Complete with original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper numbers: 2/AG & 3/PD

Both surfaces are clean and bright in daylight, retaining their 'as new' deep gloss shines.
A few very faint paper scuffs on side 1, but there are no further visible marks or wear.
Careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just some insignificant inner-sleeve removal hairlines, but no scratches or other blemishes.
Both sides lie 100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This wonderful sounding copy has received just a few careful plays on good quality equipment and all tracks play perfectly with no groovewear distortion or background noise.
The real test for this LP is always 'Yesterday'. Happily, I am pleased to report that it plays perfectly with no trace of background noise or break-up.
Even the frequently & easily worn inner tracks: 'Ticket To Ride' & 'Dizzy Miss Lizzy' both play without any playwear damage.
All bands between tracks play extremely quietly and without fault, as does all of the music on this great copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
Such a hard cover to find in this condition. This top-class example an exception as it is clean, firm and white with no age discolouration front or rear.
The front panel retains its high-gloss laminate which bears just four small 'thumbnail' creases but no indentations or storagewear scratching.
All corners are all clean & square with just very minor bruising to the lower two but both opening edges are sharp and undamaged.
The rear panel is pristine white with no discolouration, fingermarks, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks, both seams & the spine are strong, intact and undamaged.
Inner: EXCELLENT
Minor storage creasing but no splits or tears.
