THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
UK 1969 1-EMI BOX *STEREO* PRESSING
This 1969 UK pressing is on the '1-EMI box' Parlophone label: PCS 3071Both labels carry 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
Unusually, a 'KT' tax/price code is present in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover without a front stereo logo.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
(the same as the 1965 1st pressing)
Stamper codes: 3/PA & 3/PT
Disc weight: 137g

A very clean & bright pair with just a small 'nest' of spindle trails to each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both surfaces are extremely clean & bright and are unmarked in strong daylight with no surface marks or scratches whatsoever to either side.
Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals just some insignficant wispy hairlines but no other signficant marks or wear.
Play: EXCELLENT +
A terrific sounding copy which has received only careful play on high-end equipment and sounds clear & clean throughout with no groove/play wear or background noise.
My careful play-check found there not even to be any wear to the delicate 'Yesterday' or any clicks, pops or other such audible distractions elsewhere.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
A clean & white front panel which bears just a few tiny edge wrinkles and a single 'thumbnail' crease, but no other signifiacant signs of wear.
The corners are all still in good shape and both opening edges are undamaged, save for a few small 'pushes' to the rear edge.
The rear panel is overall clean & white with just a hint of toning towards the opening edge, but no writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks are intact and both the seams & the spine are smooth, unstressed and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with no significant or major faults throughout.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp based on UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
