THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'

First issued in October 1969, the '1-EMI box' Parlophone label replaced the yellow & black design which had been employed since April 1963. Each was pressed on high-quality virgin vinyl and retain all of the warmth and flawless sound quality of the 1st pressings at a fraction of the cost, making them arguably the best value Beatles vinyl available.

This pristine pressing of 'HELP!' is on that same 1969 '1-EMI box' EMI/Parlophone label: PCS 3071

Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1 (the same as the 1965 1st pressing)

Stamper codes: 3/PA & 3/-

Vinyl weight: 136g

Housed in a rare variant front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with an small solid 'stereo' front indicator.

Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Labels: NEAR MINT

Bright & clean with just a small handful of well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: MINT

Pristine 'factory-fresh' playing surface which are totally unmarked both in strong daylight AND directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.

Sound Quality: MINT

This flawless sounding copy has been played just a few times on high-end equipment and retains all of the warmth and clarity of a 1st pressing with no audible faults or wear on or between any track. You won't find a better sounding copy of this album.

Cover: NEAR MINT

A superb example of this rare cover which has been carefully stored and is clean & unblemished throughout. In fact, apart from a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle towards the front openings edge, there is very little to fault overall. All corners are free from any heavy bumps or bruising and both opening edges are undamaged. The rear panel is immaculate and unmarked and all flipbacks, seams and the spine are totally unworn & undamaged.

Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT

Clean & flat example with just a faint disc impression from storage but no writing, tears or splits.
