'HELP!'
1965 UK *1st STEREO* PRESSING LP
This excellent 1965 first stereo pressing is on the UK yellow & black Parlophone label PCS 3071
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side one label.
Housed in a front laminated, flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover.
Complete with original 'Use Emitex' lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper numbers: 3/OH & 2/AL
The front panel is clean retains its high gloss laminate showing just a few light spine creases and two 'thumbnails'.
The corners are in very strong shape and the opening edge is clean, sharp and unworn..
The rear panel is very clean and white with no discolouration, marks or writing.
All flipbacks are intact, the spine clear and readable and all seams are undamaged and unsplit.
The surfaces are extremely clean and bright and display just one light 1cm surface scuff on side two but no scratches or other marks anywhere else.
The sound is clear, clean and warm with absolutely no trace of groovewear/loud passage distortion in either channel.
There are no clicks/pops, jumps or repeats and the disc lies 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
