THE BEATLES - 'HEY JUDE'/'REVOLUTION'
UK 1968 1st PRESSING 45
This superb UK 1968 1st mono pressing is on the dark green Apple label: R 5722
Both labels have 'push-out' centres which display the the 'Sold in UK...' text.
A 'KJT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the 'Hey Jude' label.
The disc is housed within its original black glossy Apple sleeve.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 21185-1 & & 7XCE 21186-1
Stamper codes: 1/GLA & 4/GAG
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A superb bright & clean pair with no more than a small handful of faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean, deep-gloss surfaces which display little more than a few insignificant light sleeve removal marks in directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp and nothing I would call a scratch anywhere.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has received only a few carful plays on good equipment. Apart from a hint of light background on the 1st verse of 'Hey Jude', both sides are free from any audible blemishes or wear. The immensely powerful mono 'Revolution play flawlessly.
Cover
EXCELLENT
An extremely respectable clean, glossy & fully intact example of this easily worn cover. There is some light wear to the top-edge but no tears or any other significant signs of wear elsewhere.
