UK 1968 *NEAR MINT* 1st PRESSING 45
This disc was the FIRST of the four 45s on The Beatles' own Apple Records label, all released simultaneously on August 30th 1968.
This is a NEAR MINT UK 1st mono pressing on the dark green Apple label: R 5722
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK.. text with a single letter 'T' purchase tax code in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in its original matt black Apple company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 21185-1 & 7XCE 21186-1
Stamper codes: 1/AT & 3/H
CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT
A superb pair which bear just a small handful of tiny light spindle mark around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate clean & bright playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight and bear just a few insignificant wispy paper hairlines on the 'b' side directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has been barely, if ever played and my careful play check at volume found no evidence of any groove/play wear on either side. In fact, apart from a hint of light background at the begining of 'Hey Jude', there is little else to fault. The mono mix of 'Revolution' is incredible.

Clean & flat with just a few light wrinkles in the paper, but no tears, seam splits or writing.
