CONDITION
DISC: This very rare New Zealand EMI His Master's Voice 1st pressing LP with the earliest UK matrices is visually in EXCELLENT condition. Both sides of this LP show full gloss, with only a few hairlines and very light surface scratches. Both Apple labels show a few spindle trails.
In 1970, the UK's population was about 20 times that of New Zealand's. To find ANY New Zealand 1st pressing Beatles album in this condition is very difficult.
Please note: this NZ LP uses UK metal parts (1st press matrices) and is the equal in sound quality to superb-sounding 1st press UK copies. This NZ LP, however, is noticeably heavier/thicker than its UK counterpart.

COVER: The unique New Zealand EMI-manufactured front-laminated cover with flipbacks is in VERY GOOD+ condition. The cover has minor seam splits on the top and bottom seams caused by the heavy vinyl, as well as minor wear to the flipbacks and laminate, and an LP impression. The pinched spine is fully readable.
Despite the wear, this New Zealand cover's flipback construction make it arguably a superior alternative to its commonplace UK counterpart.

INNER SLEEVE: The original die-cut paper sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition, with seam splits.

GRADING INFORMATION
- I grade conservatively. MINT is a sealed LP; NEAR MINT is an open LP/cover
with virtually no signs of use/wear; EXCELLENT is a well-looked-after LP/cover
with light signs of use/wear; VERY GOOD+ is an LP/cover with average signs of
use/wear but is not trashed. - I use unforgiving sunlight and incandescent light to visually grade each LP.
- I don’t make unverifiable claims as to how many plays a non-sealed LP has had.
Please note: eBay's shipping cost is only an estimate and may not reflect actual shipping cost.
If you do not live in the United States or Canada, I will ship your item only through eBay's Global Shipping Program.
