Description
THE BEATLES - 'HEY JUDE'/'REVOLUTION'
This hard to find pressing is a 1968 UK pressed EXPORT 45 on the black & silver Parlophone label: DP 570
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK.. text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.
A 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the 'Revolution' label.
Housed in its original green 'swirl' Parlophone company sleeve.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 21185-1 & 7XCE 21186-1
Stamper codes: 1/RA & 4/RG
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT -
Both are clean & undamaged with a handful of light small spindle marks around each centre hole and a circular scratch on the 'Revolution' label.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surfaces are clean but do bear several light surface marks, none of which affect sound or play.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has not been played very often and my careful play-check at volume detected no groove/playwear distortion in either channel on either song. Even the opening unaccompanied verse of 'Hey Jude' plays with no noticeable background and the entire song remains free from any clicks, pops or other such distractions. The explosive mono 'Revolution' is an incredible experience and is alone a good reason to own this.

Clean & flat with a single small stain front and rear but but no writing, tears or seam splits.
