Beatles Hey Jude Vinyl Album American Import 1970 (The Beatles Again) good condition.
The serial number on the sleeve is SW-385
The serial number on the record is SO-385
The vinyl record has the title 'The Beatles Again' on both sides, while the album sleeve has the title 'Hey Jude' on the edge.
This indicates it's from the initial American pressings when Apple in the USA decided to change the price category after the sleeve was printed.
The vinyls are in really good condition. I've played both sides, and although the are some clicks and crackles, I would be really happy to keep this record in my own collection.
The sleeve is worn on the open edges and all the corners have signs of wear.
I am selling this on behalf of a friend, who is moving to a smaller home. He has owned the record since new, when he bought it in 1970.
The record is still in its original cellophane, so it's been hard to get a good photo without glare.
In summary, this album, especially the vinyl, has been lovingly played and looked after. The sleeve is showing signs of wear, but for a 50+ year old used album it is a really good copy.
