" INTRODUCING THE BEATLES "

Rare version 2,  Stereo issue!

The Beatles  " INTRODUCING THE BEATLES "  Vee-Jay  SR-1062

Seeing' is believing' Beatle people,  Up for sale this time is the ever elusive Stereo issue of this title.  As we all know this is a historic LP,  And this copy makes a fine example of that history, For both the Beatle's & Vee-Jay Record's.          The Cover Sport's the  White Top Banner with "STEREOPHONIC" Centered in Gray print,  And the number SR 1062 in black on the upper right corner.  This cover variation is listed in the Bruce Spizer " VEE-JAY RECORD'S" reference guide as  VJ 1062 (2) .SC1      THE COVER'S CONDITION:  The cover's condition is a Very Strong VG+,  it push's VG++.   The front of the cover displays very nicely,  It  only has minimal wear,  including 4 light creases along the spine area,  But they are almost unnoticeable.  There is NO ring wear on either side of the cover.  All four of the corner's have some wear,  The upper right hand corner has a Crinkle, as doe's the bottom left hand corner.  The other two corner's just have light wear.  The top seam is nice and attached, with no seam split's or paper loss,  the only destraction on the top seam is were the the upper right hand corner has it's crinkle. The bottom seam has some very minor wear,  with just a hint of some checking,  But NO split's or paper loss.  The Spine is in excellent condition, it is straight & sturdy,  And the print is nice and legible,  Except the " S ' in the SR 1062,  It is rubbed mostly away.   The Back of the cover is Beautiful,  It is nice and white,  and free from ring wear.   It has a small paper tear area along the bottom of the cover,  measureing 1/2"  but is hard to detect.  The Back cover still has the original Price sticker adhered to it.   Again this cover Grade's out at a Strong VG+ TO VG++.      THE LABELS: on this item are Listed in the Spizer, Reference guide as VJ 1062 (2) SR4B.  They feature the all black label with silver print and the large "VJ" logo with "VEE-JAY RECORDS" printed below.  It has left justified titles and credits with "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" and does NOT have "LONG PLAY-ING" and "MICROGROOVE" on the label.  It has "STEREO" in tall, thin print at 9o'clock.  THE RECORD:  The trail off area's on the Record,  have the hand etched matrix number 63-3402 stereo and job number 6313 on side 1.   Side 2,  Has the hand etched matrix number S63-3403-STEREO,  And job number 6313X.  The initials " URJ " and the (MR) logo appear on both side's of the Record.   Although the (MR) logo is not scratched out, the characteristics of this record,  Paticularly the deep circular indention located 5/8" inside the outer border of the label,  Are more similar to VJ 1062(2) MR4  than to disc's made by Monarch. This variation was probably pressed at the same factory as VJ 1062 92) MR4  Possibly at the Columbia Record's plant in Terre Haute, Indiana  With stamper's previously used by Monarch.  This version is the only verified Stereo record of "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" on a label with out a colorband.   LABELS CONDITION:   The Record Labels are in excellent  VG++ Condition,  The only thing keeping them from grading higher is there is some minor signs of useage around the pindle hole,  But this is very minor.  Overall the label's are Beautiful. RECORD VINYL CONDITION:  The overall condition of the Record is VG++,  It has numerous light surface scratche's on both side's of the record,  But they are very light, and do not take away from it's overall apearance.   The record has a very bright  glimmmer to it, and Display's very nicely.            Sorry folks if I rattle on to much,  But I want to fully describe the item so there are no surprise's on your end.   Folk's this is just a wonderful Record,  It is highly collectible and is in excellent condition.  It is a quality high end collectible, and a sound financial investment.   I am only selling it because I recently purchased one in NM-  condition.  Please bid with complete confidence,  I have traded in Beatle's collectible's since 1978.  Please know that Im also a collector,  And I view the hobby from the collector's perspective,  I strive for customer satisfaction.  Please Also know that I take my packing seriously, and go to great length's to secure your item properly for shipping,  The record will be removed from the cover for shipping purpose's.   Please see my other item's for sale here on ebay.  THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!!!
