Description
THE BEATLES - 'IF I FELL'/'TELL ME WHY'
This coupling of two of the finest songs from 'A Hard Day's Night' was pressed in the UK for EXPORT only in December 1964.
It is on the standard black & silver Parlophone label with the special export catalogue number: DP 562
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'The Parlophone Co..' worded rims.
The impression of the 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the 'If I Fell' label & in both run-outs.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17756 & 7XCE 17757
Stamper codes: 2/M & 1/R
Housed within its original green & white Parlophone company cover.
Complete with a genuine & original 1960's ex-record shop stock paper bag.

A 1st-class pair with just a small handful of light spindle trails around each totally unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Exceptionally clean & unworn deep-gloss playing surfaces which are free from any surface marks or wear in strong daylight with just few wispy paper-type hairlines visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This disc has clearly received very little play and the 45rpm format seems to raise the sound quality a notch for both songs. Each plays cleanly and clearly with no evidence of any groove/playwear or any clicks, pops or any other such distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some gentle storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seams splits.
