On offer here, is a demonstration copy of possibly the most revered of John's songs. First appearing in 1971 on the 'Imagine' album but not released as a UK single at the time
By 1975 John had decided to stop recording and become a 'Dad' to new son Sean and so here is his last UK single release, before his death, probably prompted by EMI, realising they were losing a major recording artist

The Vinyl
Visually:
Both surfaces have retained all of their deep gloss lustre - nothing more than some light handling lines but no deep scratches
Audio:
Sound quality is undiminished throughout - the odd pop both sides but nothing much

The Labels
Side 1 is perfect - Side 2 has a paper rub (see photo) which may be from sticker removal, however all text remains legible
*
The Sleeve
Genuine company original - in top condition - some creasing, small tear on the die hole - name written inside the top cutaway
*
