In this auction:


  • “MIND GAMES” by John Lennon

  • This is Apple Records P - 1868.

  • This is a PROMOTIONAL SINGLE with MONO on the A-side and STEREO on the B-side.

  • As you probably know, PROMO RECORDS were released by record companies ONLY to the radio stations and DJs for airplay to promote the new LP and artist. They were NOT released or made available to the general public. They are especially desirable to vinyl collectors due to small quantities pressed and unavailability to the public.

  • The labels state that this song is “from the LP ‘MIND GAMES’ SW 3414’”.

  • This record was issued in October of 1973.

  • The VINYL is in STRONG VG+ to WEAK NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION with some VERY LIGHT SURFACE hairlines/scuffs (none “feel-able”), and the vinyl has LOTS OF GLOSS.

  • An Apple Records stock sleeve with straight-cut top opening (East Coast sleeve used 1968 -1974) in Nice VG condition is included.
