In this auction are 3 ORIGINAL John Lennon & Plastic Ono Band APPLE PICTURE SLEEVES & 45 RPM RECORDS.  If you’re looking for some to complete a set or looking for some Solo-Beatles sleeves to go with your Beatles picture sleeves, you’ve found them here.

Here are the details about the records in this auction:

Picture Sleeve & Record #1:

·       “INSTANT KARMA!” by John Lennon b/w “WHO HAS SEEN THE WIND?” by Yoko Ono

·       This is Apple Records 1818.

·       This record was released January 27, 1970.

·       The PICTURE SLEEVE is in NEAR MINT CONDITION!!! You won’t find a better copy of this sleeve than this one!!! This is a flat sleeve with no ripples, creases or folds. It’s become very hard to find this primarily white sleeve without soiling, stains, and wear! (Note how prominent Phil Spector’s name is printed on the sleeve as the producer!)

·       The VINYL is ALSO NEAR MINT. Pressed at Capitol’s Scranton plant.  

Picture Sleeve & Record #2:

·       “GIVE PEACE A CHANCE” by John Lennon b/w “REMEMBER LOVE” by Yoko Ono

·       This is Apple Records 1809.

·       This record was released July 7, 1969.

·       The PICTURE SLEEVE is in NICE NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. Only a few very light folds at the top opening keep me from grading this sleeve Near Mint. The sleeve is quite flat.

·       The VINYL is NEAR MINT. Pressed at Capitol’s Scranton plant. 

Picture Sleeve & Record #3:

·       “MIND GAMES” b/w “MEAT CITY” by John Lennon

·       This is Apple Records 1868.

·       This record was released October 31, 1973.

·       The PICTURE SLEEVE would be graded in NICE VG+ CONDITION except for a very tiny ¼ inch tear at the top opening which would lower the grade. There is some light partial ring wear (very common on this sleeve) and a few very light folds at the top opening. The sleeve is quite flat.

·       The VINYL is in STRONG VG CONDITION with some light surface hairlines/scuffs. This record was pressed at Capitol’s Scranton plant. 

A nice lot of 3 John Lennon Apple Picture Sleeves and Records in GREAT Condition!

These are Poor (PR), Fair (FR), Good Minus (G-), Good (G), Good Plus (G+), Very Good Minus (VG-), Very Good (VG), Very Good+ (VG+), Near Mint Minus or Very Good++ (NM- or VG++), Near Mint (NM), Mint Minus (M-), and Mint (M or MT) to VISUALLY grade this 45 and picture sleeve, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
