PICTURE SLEEVE & RECORD #1:

This is Apple Records 1830.

This picture sleeve and record were released March 22, 1971.

The PICTURE SLEEVE is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION. Only some very slight bends/ripples (not from water) keep me from grading this sleeve Near Mint. The sleeve is mostly flat. There are NO seam splits, NO tears, NO ring wear and NO writing on this sleeve.

The VINYL is NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-). There are just a couple of very light surface scuffs/hairlines. This record was pressed at Capitol’s Winchester plant.

This picture sleeve and record were released April 24, 1972.

The PICTURE SLEEVE is in VG to VG+ CONDITION. It seems like this sleeve was wet some time in its past, because both sides of the sleeve have some rippling. Still, the images look very nice and there is no paper damage and no paper sticking together. It has light overall wear and light disc impression. There are 2 staple holes near the top opening, probably where a price tag was attached and intended to keep the record from falling out of the sleeve in the record store, and a 1&½- inch seam split on the bottom seam. The B-side of the sleeve has some light ring wear and light signs of handling at the top opening. There is a small stain caused by clear tape on both sides of the sleeve near the top opening, but there is no tear and no seam split there.

The VINYL is NEAR MINT. This Apple record has the custom “morphing faces” label.
