Description

John Lennon Plastic Ono Band with Elephant's Memory- "SOME TIME IN NEW YORK CITY" Capitol Records ‎– SVBB- 3392,

Originally issued in 1972 on Apple, it was reissued in 1978 on the Capitol Purple labels. For a VERY brief time in the early 1980's Capitol constructed a single pocket reissue of this album and it was extremely limited in production. It is advised to store the record outside of the cover as these copies often are found with splits on the seams because of the 2 records being put in one pocket.  This is a Winchester pressing with the hand etched sideways wine glass in the runout groove. These are very hard to find. I've only come across a few in over ten years of keeping an eye out for this variation.

Cover is VG++       Small split on top opening edge. Includes both custom inner sleeves. One has tape at the bottom and the other has small splits.

Both Vinyl are NEAR MINT                     Near Mint Labels.
