Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
John Lennon & Yoko Ono-"Two Virgins" LP, a UK import, Apple SAPCOR 2/Track 613012, released in 1968. This is the first pressing, not a re-issue. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG condition; each side has numerous light, non-feelable marks. This looks like it was actually played more than once! (If you've ever listened to it you can understand my surprise; usually this LP is found in NM condition as one play is all it's gotten). The cover is also in VG condition with some general age wear, nothing severe. It comes with it's original black inner sleeve, with one partial side split. the brown outer cover is in VG-/VG condition with some general age wear, some wrinkles, a tiny spine tear and a partial top seam split. One of the most infamous LP's in the Beatles catalog, with the UK version being especially hard to find; only 5000 were pressed and only a small number of these were sold.
