The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
John Lennon & Yoko Ono-"Milk And Honey" picture disc LP, a UK import, POLH P5, released in 1984. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM- condition with a couple of light marks on both sides. Picture discs generally won't play with the same fidelity as normal vinyl anyway; they are more of a collector's item. I believe this is the second pressing as it's supposed to be thicker than the first. I don't have another to compare, but this feels pretty thick. Side one matrix number: POLHP-5-A; side two matrix number: POLHP-5-B. Both sides also have "ORLAKE" written in the dead wax. This will come in a plain plastic cover. Classic Lennon, in a rare format.
