Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the items I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
John Lennon & Yoko Ono-"Double Fantasy" LP, Geffen GHS 2001, released in 1981. This is the very scarce Columbia Record Club pressing with "CH" on both LP labels. Very few of the club pressings have these markings. Back cover also states it's from Columbia House. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM- to NM condition; it has a couple of very tiny marks but I think these are handling marks and that this is probably unplayed. Cover is in NM- condition, still in the shrinkwrap with very light wear along the LP opening. Custom inner sleeve has slits along all three sides. Classic Lennon, in a very rare format, and a must for the Beatles completist.
