HERE IS A VERY NICE PAIR of APPLE RECORDS on GREEN VINYL.

In this auction:

RECORD & PICTURE SLEEVE #1:

·       “HAPPY XMAS (War Is over) b/w “LISTEN, THE SNOW IS FALLING)” by John Lennon & Yoko Ono

·       This is APPLE RECORDS 1842.

·       It is pressed on GREEN VINYL.

·       This version has the un-cut and cut green apple labels.

·       This record was issued December 1, 1971.

·       The VINYL (both sides) is NEAR MINT.

·       The record comes with its ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE which is NEAR MINT MINUS. There are NO TEARS, NO SEAM SPLITS, NO WRITING, and NO CREASES. There is light aging, very slight disc impression and 3 small marks on the left side of the B-side of the sleeve.   

RECORD #2:

·       “HAPPY XMAS (War Is over) b/w “LISTEN, THE SNOW IS FALLING)” by John Lennon & Yoko Ono

·       This is APPLE RECORDS 1842.

·       It is pressed on GREEN VINYL.

·       This version has the custom “faces” labels.

·       The ratio of these singles to the more common green apple singles is about 1 to 4, according to Perry Cox. So, it is the more difficult to find of the 2 green vinyl pressings.

·       This record was issued in December, 1971.

·       The VINYL (both sides) is NEAR MINT.

·       The record comes with its ORIGINAL APPLE STOCK SLEEVE which is Near Mint.

There were not many U.S. Apple 45 RPM records released on colored vinyl at all. In fact, this is the only one I know of.
