Most Beatles collectors will know about Vee Jay Records and how they had the rights to a handful of The Beatles' early tracks and milked them by releasing many albums of those same tracks in different guises. 

This LP contains just four tracks by The Beatles and eight by Frank Ifield. The "On Stage" is totally misleading. These are all studio recordings. 

These LPs have been counterfeited over the years and I think this is a mixture of counterfeit record and original sleeve. It was bought in Los Angeles in 1980 and hasn't been played since.

The sleeve is in very good condition. There are some scuffs on the front and some discolouration on the back. There are no tears or creases though. It looks its age, hence my believing it to be genuine.

The record itself is most probably counterfeit. It is in mint condition. The labels do not have the rainbow colours around the circumference that they should have.

Were it original, this LP would be worth a lot of money. As it is not original, the asking price reflects this.
