THE BEATLES
Wonderful, very rare Canada Let It Be box set with the famous and valuable Get Back book included in the set from 1970 (Apple 6351). The Let It Be album in the US did not include the "Get Back" book, making collectors search the UK and Canada for it. Well, here it is and it's in glorious condition. The book is near mint. The outside cover is VG++. The inner cover is VG+. The vinyl is VG++. A beautiful, very rare set.
I have had bidders ask why I start all my record auctions at $5.00 with no reserve, even with extremely rare and valuable records. I believe that auctions should be true auctions, with the high bidder always winning the item. Secret reserves make no sense and frustrate buyers, so I don’t use them. And I believe that buyers will understand the value of the records I sell and will bid accordingly. I have sold sealed Beatles butcher LPs and original near mint Elvis Presley Sun 45s this way .... $5.00 opening bid and no reserve!
