‘LET IT BE’ was the The Beatles FINAL UK Studio Album released on 8th May1970. First issues were released as a LAVISH VINYL & BOOK BOX Set. The few found in COMPLETE and IMPRESSIVE condition throughout are now becoming INCREASINGLY COLLECTIBLE. Due to the fragile construction of the slip case and inner trays that support the book, a vast majority of these Vinyl Box Sets became damaged and incomplete.

Becoming increasingly difficult to find now in IMPRESSIVE and COMPLETE condition, this is an ORIGINAL UK First Issue for The Beatles ‘LET IT BE’ VINYL Box Set. Released in 1970 on the APPLE label, the BOX SET contains the following:
An ORIGINAL 1970 Twelve Track FIRST ISSUE UK Apple ‘LET IT BE’ 12” STEREO Vinyl LP on the Dark Green Apple Label, with ‘Apple Records’ label rim, and with ‘An EMI Recording’ and ‘Mfd in the UK’ printed to both record labels.
The record labels, vinyl disc, and the red Apple sleeve are all in Excellent to Excellent Plus condition, the record labels show a few light centre spindle lines, the vinyl disc is very glossy and shows only very light surface hairlines, but no deep scratches or scuffs, the original Red Apple Logo sleeve is very glossy and shows only mild record indentation, and a small rub mark to the bottom edge of the sleeve.
Side 1 matrix: YEX 773-2U and Side 2 YEX 774-2U.
Side 1 stampers: 1/6/GRA and Side 2: 5/GGT.
The album comes in its ORIGINAL White inner bag, printed ‘Made in Great Britain’ and the ‘Patent No: 1,125,555’, there is a removed sticker mark on the bottom of the inner bag.
The ORIGINAL Large Format GET BACK book, Laminated to the Front and Reverse is in stunning condition. Glossy front and back covers, with no loose pages. This great book is packed with previously unpublished photographs of The Beatles taken by Ethan A Russell from the Get Back Sessions.
The book is stored in its Black Card perforated Inner Tray which is in Very Good Plus condition, there is no major damage to the tray, just small splits to two corners, but still together. The Outer Black Tray is also in Very Good plus condition, showing a tear to one of the flaps, and light wear and tear to the edges and corners.
….All the contents of the Box Set slide into an ORIGINAL First Issue Garrod & Lofthouse ‘Patents Pending’ Fully laminated Let it Be Outer slip case, which is in Excellent Minus to Excellent condition, the slip case has no major damage, just light wear to the edges and corners, the front and back panels of the slipcase are very glossy.
Audio Quality:
The album plays well through all 12 tracks, without any skips, clicks or distortion, just some light background crackle.
From past experience, we RARELY come across this COLLECTIBLE Beatles Box Set now in such overall respectable condition. Most are damaged or incomplete. Becoming INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT to find.
