READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP 1969 Something New Apple with Capitol Logo, GORGEOUS UNPLAYED!

I bought this copy in the early 1990’s still sealed.  But the shrinkwrap was partially split down the back, so I stripped it off to see which pressing it was.  It’s been safely stored away from the light, and I’ve never once played it.

Vinyl--- NM/NM.  Store stock brand new vinyl, both sides.  Just a few very light hairline scratches in the dead wax on Side 2, most likely from the plant.

Plates--- H13/H13.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

Cover--- EX.  COVER IS OLD STOCK ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING!

Front cover looks store stock, brand new.  Borders are snow white, black areas have next to no whitewear and no dirtwear.

Back cover seems to have picked up an extremely light amount of dirtwear in storage.  But in the main, it’s still 95% brand new white.

Top and bottom seams are muscular strong, NO SPLITS.  Spine has a ¾-inch crack in the slick at the top corner, but the spine is not split.  Bottom spine corner has a little frayed, missing slick.  Tiny!

Labels--- NM/NM.  Store stock brand new labels, both sides.  NO SPINDLE MARKS.

Inner Sleeve--- NM.  It’s unusual to find inner sleeves as snow white as they were the day they were packaged, but this one is.  Razor-sharp edges, extremely light record outdent at the top.  NO SEAM SPLITS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: 6. This copy was issued with old original album cover stock.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
