Description

(Note:  If you win multiple items in a week’s listings, please wait for the end of all of the auctions for me to invoice you, so that you can take advantage of my combined shipping offer.  Thanks!)

READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

There are a few variations of the “All Rights Reserved” label variations which are genuinely rare.  This past week, I’ve been asked about them a couple of times.  So this week, I will be selling a few different examples of the rarest variations.  For more information, please consider contacting me, regarding purchasing my books on flash drive, which go into sharp detail on this and all label variations, title by title.

Beatles LP 1975 Apple Rubber Soul “All Rights” Disclaimer on Two Lines Both Sides, EX!

This one is another nearly impossible-to-find “All Rights” variation.  To find any copies with the disclaimer under the stem on the whole Apple side is a challenge.  But if you see one, most of the time, the disclaimer will be on five lines in the bottom right buttock of the sliced Apple side.

This MUCH scarcer copy out of Jacksonville has the disclaimer also on two lines on the sliced Apple side, just below “The Beatles” to the left of the stem.  To my knowledge, this is the only title in the Apple catalogue that has the disclaimer in this position on the label.

Now, I know you’ve never seen one of these before.

AND it’s in the shrink.

Vinyl--- EX/EX.  Both sides shine 90% to 95% brand new.  Each side does have just a couple of light scratches that cannot be felt with the fingertip.

Plates--- H19/H24.  Machine-Stamped letter “O” in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Jacksonville.

Cover--- NM.  Shrinkwrap did an amazing job protecting this cover.  Has a promo hole in the top right corner.  All colors full and bold.  All white areas are still nice and white.  No ringwear, no dirtwear. NO SEAM SPLITS.

Breathe Holes--- There are two breathe holes on the front cover.  One is in the wide part of the brown letter “O” in the word, “Soul.”  The other is due south in George’s hair, just above his ear.

Shrink has split in a couple of places.

Labels--- EX/EX.  Each label has one or two very short and very light spindle marks.  Otherwise, they look brand new.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- NM.  Generic white inner sleeve with no die-cut hole for the labels to show is present.  One of the few inner sleeves I’ve seen that looks like it did back in the day, when you first pulled it out of the album cover.  Cream colored sleeve has not yellowed at all.  Corresponding promo hole is in the top corner.  NO SEAM SPLITS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: 9. It’s VERY unusual for a 9 cover to bear a promo hole.

**It’s going to be a VERY long time before we see another one of these, so you’d better get out and pee now.  There’s a whole lot o’ nothing between here and there.**

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)

**Check out my other auctions for more hard-to-find vinyl!
