READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning. I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP Beatles’ Story 1969 Apple with Capitol Logo “Subsidiary of…” LA in shrink, NM!
From the short-lived label run of the back catalogue of titles, this variation didn’t last a year, from part of 1969 to part of 1970. If you’re a completist, check the other auctions this week, and then come back next week for more titles.
Vinyl--- NM/NM. NM/NM. A word to the wise for aquarium owners. Your fish will starve to death after you drop over from seeing the conditions of these LP’s. They both look unplayed. Beautiful vinyl!
Plates--- A3/A3. H5/A3. Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.
Cover--- Stunning NM. This cover looks just as it did in 1969. Cream-colored front and back slicks from the late 60’s only! There is absolutely NO wear to this cover anywhere. ¼-inch promo hole in the upper right-hand corner. Gatefold has never been opened.
NO RINGWEAR, NO DIRTWEAR, NO RECORD OUTDENT, NO SPLIT SEAMS.
A slight misfitting of the front slick shows a strip at the bottom front cover of the inside gatefold!
Breathe Holes--- There is one breathe hole on the front cover in George’s hair. (Funny how the breathe holes seem to fall on George. That must mean that Paul is dead.)
Labels--- NM/NM. NM/NM. Brand new-looking labels! NO SPINDLE MARKS.
Capitol Inner Sleeves--- NM/NM. Promo holes present on these sleeves lets you know they are the original ones to this set. NO SPLITS.
A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.
RIAA: None.
If you took the Stephen Hawking shuttle back to 1969, you couldn’t upgrade this copy unless you bought one and left it sealed.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
