Description

Up for sale is this gorgeous Vee Jay version 2 of Introducing the Beatles and a rare (one of a kind rare!) poster of concept art for a NY time advertisement mocking the beatles!

The Record cover is nice but does have some damage. There is overall wear and a break in the side on the lower right (see photo). There is some light discoloration from moisture on the right side of the front and on the back. The record has the original Bracket Vee Jay label! It is well used - No serious damage but it does have light scratches and wear (see photo) - it was definitely played a lot (and understandably so!). It plays with a very light background static. There is no inner sleeve.

The poster was produced by Rubicam & Young, the original MadMen to be published in a 1969 NY Times  as an advertisement for the Times Business section. I cannot find any evidence of this ever being printed, and I can see why!

The poster measures 23" x 16 1/4". These were printed on thin paper to hang up before deciding on which adds to publish - the art credits are on the base. This was folded in the middle but otherwise is in great condition.

I will ship these two items separately. The LP will be mailed in a record mailer with the record removed from the sleeve and shipped via priority. I will roll the poster and ship via priority mail for free.
