We have taken a hard look at many of our listings with respect to reviewing previously posted prices. In some cases, we felt they did NOT accurately reflect today's real market values considering factors such as SCARCITY, RARITY, CONDITION and the LATEST PRICE GUIDES.

Beatles LP "MEET THE BEATLES" Capitol Rainbow Label - MONO # T-2047. One of the rarer variations of this LP.
Black Rainbow Variation without SUBSIDIARY print. This label variation credits ASCAP for every song except "I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND", which is credited to BMI and was used for the initial WEST COAST pressings (MR2B). It was also used for a significant part of the initial EAST COAST PRODUCTION run (MR2A). But this label was most likely sent to the EAST COAST PRINTER shortly after January 8, 1964. These records were initially packaged with FIRST VARIATION COVERS and did not include GEORGE MARTIN production credit. It is important to note that CAPITOL pulled copies of this production run for PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES in Early 1964.
The Outer Jacket has NO SPLITS and NO WRITING on it. It also has the BROWNISH coloring for the "BEATLES" on the front cover and a 1964 BLUE Capitol Inner Sleeve (NO "RIAA" Award on cover indicating in this case that this was a 1964 pressing).
The VINYL is in EXCELLENT condition with only a very few minor paper sleeve scuffs here and there from sliding the LP in and out of the jacket and some very minor surface marks therefore we cannot claim a condition that would be MINT. But it is one of the cleaner 1964 pressings we have seen in years. Both labels are also very clean.
This is really a great find for any serious BEATLE collector! Issued in 1964.
In NM condition, this LP would be valued at around $450.00 therefore our sell price should appear as a steal! We price our records based upon CONDITION as well as RARITY and SCARCITY strongly factored in. All BEATLE pricing is reflective of the most current BEATLES Price Guide authored by STAN PANENKA. Most other guides are now between 6 and 7 years old, with pricing not representative of current market values, regardless of the publisher. All reasonable offers will be considered.
