Description

Beatles LP MONO White Album NM Late ‘70’s Issue Complete

Collectors know that the U.S. didn’t get the MONO mix of the White Album.  The long-time collectors will also know that the MONO mix is significantly different than the stereo mix that we all know and love.  LOTS of little nuances that you’ve never heard before if you’ve never listened to the MONO mix.

Vinyl--- All four sides are a stunning NM, unplayed-looking.

Plates--- XEX 709-2/XEX 710-2,  XEX 711-4/XEX 712-2

(Stereo copies had matrices that were designated as YEX.)

Cover--- Cover has yellowed around the edges, inside the gatefold and out over the past 40 years.  Has some light record outdent on the front, extremely light on the back.  Some light creasing and push-ins, but overall, still a very nice, full-gloss cover.

Labels--- Gorgeous VG++/NM. One or two very light spindle marks per side if you hit the labels in the light just right. Otherwise, all four look brand new.

Inner Sleeves--- Both inner sleeves are NM, “Made in Great Britain” printed on one side.  No die-cut windows for the labels to show through.

Photos--- NM. Flat, crisp and full glossy. Printed on England’s thick card stock, all four look as though they are hot off the press.

Poster--- Apart from unfurling it to photograph for this auction, it is doubtful that this poster was ever opened since its printing in 1979.  Full-color, semi-glossy, this poster is razor-sharp and flat.

Had it not been for the cover’s edges yellowing, this copy looks like you took a bus back to 1979 England, bought it new and brought it back to 2022.

Best complete MONO copy I’ve ever seen from that time.

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Shipping is $4.00 for Media Mail for up to 3 single or double albums, excluding boxed sets within the U.S.  $4.00 covers shipping for up to 5 singles within the U.S.  eBay doesn't allow discussions or requirements on protecting your orders during transit, so please ask.

Winners in all other countries will be charged actual shipping to their locations, so please wait to be invoiced.  You will be quoted for the cheapest shipping to your country that the US post office can afford me.  Please let me know if you would prefer to pay for a faster means of shipping, but do NOT ask me to declare packages as gifts, or any other means of defrauding the postal services.  Much appreciated.

I ship on Mondays and Thursdays.  This means that immediate payments will be shipped out the following morning, and later payments must wait until the first available Monday or Thursday after payment is received.  Please pay within 7 days of the auction ending.  I do leave negative feedback for non-payers.

Money back guarantee if you're not happy with your purchase.
