Beatles LP McCartney SEALED Wildlife 1st Press 1971 Promo w SCARCE 1972 Tour Book!

READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

So with that said…

SEALED ALBUMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE IF THEY ARE OPENED.  That’s fair, isn’t it?

Beautiful sealed promo copy of Paul McCartney and Wings’ debut album from 1971.  This copy was found with the tour book for the 1972 “Wings Over Europe” tour, which naturally did not include any stops in the United States. 

That’s a real shame.  Look at the roster of songs in the Tour Book they performed on that tour.  They were clearly touring on this album, plus a healthy selection of songs from his best album ever, “Ram.”  Can you imagine hearing some “Ram” tracks live while that album was still in the charts? 

To round out the show, there are several McCartney songs that had not yet been released, and even some that were never released to this day!

Vinyl--- NM sealed.

Plates--- NM sealed.

Cover--- NM sealed.  Promo hole on the front right.  Two breathe holes are present at the bottom, one between Denny Laine’s feet and the other on Denny Seiwell’s right leg.  Shrinkwrap has a less than one quarter-inch split on the cover’s mouth.  Slight record outdent is present as well.

Labels--- NM sealed.

Inner Sleeve--- NM sealed.

Hype Sticker--- Apart from the top right corner of the sticker, where it looks like some idiot who wasn’t me for a change, tried to peel it off, the sticker is NM.  This sticker is notorious for fading unevenly, turning some spots greenish-brown and then yellow.  Not this one.

1972 Tour Book--- Still in remarkably good condition, doesn’t look as though it were looked through very much.  Top center damage to the front cover.  ¾ inch tear and wrinkle.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
