READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP Meet the Beatles! Hard-to-Find Columbia STEREO Consignment, EX Vinyl!

Later 1966 consignment pressing from the Columbia plant.  Stereo consignment pressings are much harder to find of Beatles titles than mono consignments.  Capitol mono issues outsold stereo issues 4 to 1.  Consignments’ numbers are much less than that.

Vinyl--- EX/ EX.  Gorgeous vinyl.  Side One is NM, with the exception of one very fine line, which is half the width and depth of a spider web.  Side Two is NM, with the exception of half a dozen short lines just like the one on the first side.

Plates--- B10/ A7.  No Capitol insignias present in the dead wax.

Cover--- VG.  Front cover is almost free of ringwear, dirtwear.  Back has moderate dirtwear.  Spine has light splitting.  Bottom seam was taped back together about 3 inches long below Ringo’s chin.

Labels--- NM/ NM.  Stunning new labels.  The last two songs per side are printed in brighter silver letters than the rest of the text.  Don’t ask me why.

Thin-cut concentric groove closer to the outer edge of the labels come from Columbia lathes. 

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- VG.  Generic white inner sleeve with no die-cut hole for the labels to show is present and in VG condition.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: 4

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
