The Beatles – Revolver 1966 - Original 1966 UK issue on the yellow & black Parlophone labels. PMC 7009 dating to the original release date of 5th August 1966. Comes in its original and rare 1st issue E J Day cover.

CONDITION

Disc

Visual:  EXCELLENT 

A fresh looking disc which retains its high gloss sheen. One's initial impression when viewed in strong daylight is that the disc is in near mint condition, on close inspection under a halogen desklight whispy sleeve removal marks are revealed along with some faint non sounding hairlines. Non of the marks are feelable in anyway and there are certainly no heavy marks or scratches just very fine marks which become visible under intense light. I considered an exc+ grade but aired on the side of caution. The vinyl lies 100% flat on the turntable.


Audio: EXCELLENT-

Undistorted and unworn audio throughout there is however some surface noise and light static on some of the quieter passages and in some gaps.

Labels: Side 1 EXCELLENT+ Side 2 EXCELLENT

Some spindle trails are visible to each label but overall very fresh. There is no wear to the silver text or the yellow Parlophone writing or logo. Side two has the KT tax code.


Cover

EXCELLENT

The vinyl comes in its original and ultra rare E J Day cover dating to 1966. A very presentable cover with an unworn front panel. The rear panel is free from any writing. On close inspection and when angled towards the light there are some very fine lines visible which appear to be some kind of memory impression. All flipbacks are intact and the writing on the spine is clearly visible.
