Description
An excellent original mono UK copy of the album many consider to be the best Beatles album.
It has the yellow and black Parlophone label as per the photos and the vinyl is almost mint: it’s shiny clean and bright with the tiniest of faint surface marks, nothing that caused an issue on audition on a modern hi-fi. The label has some slight spindle marks and the KT tax code.
The sleeve is excellent with very slight wear to the open edge and the corners. It’s the correct Garrod & Lofthouse tri-fold back.
A chance to hear the album in mono, the version that the Beatles lavished all their effort upon. A very nice addition to your mono vinyl collection.
Matrix markings on side one are XEX 605-2 at 6 o clock, 7 at 3 o clock, AO at 9 o clock.
Matrix markings on side two are XEX 606-1 at 6 o clock, 1 at 3 o clock, AT at 9 o clock.

Just to be clear this is the rare mono version very first pressing, hastily withdrawn, which has a different mix of "Tomorrow Never Knows" (known as "remix 11") with matrix number on side 2 of XEX 606-1.
