Description
For auction, an Unbeatable Copy of the Landmark LP by The Beatles, Titled Rubber Soul. This is an Original First Press Mono UK Loud Cut Pressing, with matrixes XEX 579 1 for side 1, and XEX 580 1 for side 2. The Loud Cut Pressing is the very first press of this LP, and features a fuller, more powerful sound than subsequent pressings, and this is why this first press is called the Loud Cut. The vinyl is in remarkable E+ condition, with hardly a sign of being played. The record plays with amazing fidelity, and is quiet between passages. The Original Ernest J Day cover is in Pristine E++ condition, with all the corners remarkably sharp. The cover is mark free, with gorgeous colors, very sturdy, with nothing close to a seam split. Just look at my pictures, and you'l see the Cover is a step or two above the usual Rubber Soul Covers that turn up. You'll never find this great Record & Cover in better condition. Rubber Soul is arguably the best LP the Beatles ever recorded, and certainly features John Lennon at his best, with such fantastic songs such as Norwegian Wood, Girl, and In My Life.
