Beatles LP Sgt. Pepper 70’s German Pressing with 2 Different Horzu Logos

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Early 70’s thick vinyl (180g?).  Mid to late-60’s Horzu labels used a small round Horzu insignia to the right of the large Odeon label.  Side 1 has this.  Early 70’s labels twice used the word, “Horzu” as the logo, and Side 2 has that one.

This is definitely from the early 70’s at latest, possibly late 60’s.

Vinyl--- EX. Looks great under normal room light. Under a bare bulb, you can see very faint scratches, both sides.  Notes say that there is a tic for the first few rotations on Side 1, but that it stops just before the music begins.  (Maybe a VPI can address that?)

Plates--- SHZE-401-A1/ SHZE-401-B2.  Very unusual for European pressings, this copy lacks the inner groove at the end of Side 2.

Cover--- Nice VG. Almost a solid VG+.

Labels--- EX. One or two light spindle marks per side, and that’s it.  Side One label has the older 60’s Horzu logo, and Side Two has the more familiar early 70’s Horzu logo.

Inner Sleeve--- VG. Original 70’s German inner sleeve with one window and plastic film-lined insides is present.  Top of sleeve on one side has finger divots from handling over the last 50 years.  One side seam has a 2-inch center split.

Insert--- Original German insert, printed on thick cardboard stock, as opposed to the thin, glossy the States got is present and in NM, flat condition.  Looks like a reproduction from the original U.S. with the exception that in the white box to the left of the Sgt. Pepper cut-out, the words, “Printed in Germany” replace the “Made in U.S.A.” or nothing at all versions from the U.S.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
