READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

So with that said…

Beatles LP Very HTF Apple 1971 Issue White Album with All A-Plates, Complete and Nice!

By the 1971 reissue of the White Album, the prepared plates began somewhere around the G or H series, and continue through X.  Copies with A-plates are highly unusual on one or two sides.  This copy has A-plates on all four sides.  Not NM vinyl, but pretty darned nice!

Vinyl--- EX/VG+. EX/VG+.  Keeping in mind that VG+ is still a strong grade, the two full Apple sides have one or maybe two light lines each.  The two sliced Apple sides have a few more, plus some extremely light angel hairs.  None can be felt, and some can’t be seen without a bright light source.

Plates--- A71/A70. A75/A68.  Hand-etched Delta symbols (or rifle) in the dead waxes on all four sides makes this copy pressed in Winchester.

Cover--- VG.  Light dirtwear and ringwear on front and back.  All seams show shelfwear.  All four seams have been repaired neatly with Scotch tape.  Certainly a better job than I could have done.

Gatefold--- VG+.  Also has some dirtwear, not heavy though.

Please note the following:

The poster and four photos are full-gloss with the “Printed in U.S.A.” circle on them all.  Photos are printed on hard card stock, poster is the thicker style paper.

I think this copy was issued with original 1968 poster and photos.

Poster--- VG.  Definitely has seen some use.  While there are no pinholes or tape, the poster has a moderate amount of finger divots.  Back has significant browning.  NO SPLITS.

Photos--- VG.  All four photos have some moderate wear on them.  All four have pinholes at their tops.

Labels--- EX/EX. EX/EX.  Very light and very few spindle marks only.  Otherwise, labels look NM.

Inner Sleeves--- EX/EX.  Generic white inner sleeves with die-cut holes for the labels to show.  Still nice and flat, a little yellowed.  NO SEAM SPLITS.

Rice paper inner sleeves will be provided, so as not to damage your original Apple inner sleeves en route.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
