Beatles LP - With The Beatles - Stereo

 

1963 album

 

Parlophone PCS 3045 stereo

 

Matrix numbers   -   YEX 110 - 2 (side 1) and YEX 111 - 2 (side 2)  

 

I acquired this album recently and I have consulted a record dealer who agreed with me that the album has been well looked after ... he advised it was best to be moderate when grading albums so as not to disappoint a buyer and graded it as a good/very good copy

 

The vinyl is lovely and shiny ... you can notice a few superficial scratches when held under strong light ... but other than 1 measuring about 2 cm (still superficial though) you would have to strain your eyes to notice the others

 

I have played the album all the way through on new, high quality sound equipment and have listened carefully ... you can only hear the first half of the last word Beethoven, on track 1 side 2 ... unless this is intentional then there is an imperfection to mention here ... also, on track 1 side 2 there is a blip/crackle (not a skip or jump though) during the words 'I'm so alone' near the end .. I haven't discovered anything else negative though about this album to mention ... bearing in mind this album is nearly 50 years old I believe it has survived the years well!

 

The album comes in a Garrod and Lofthouse cover ... think the type of cover is known as a flipback cover ... this has obviously been as well looked after as the album ... there is a little bumping to the corners but the spine is fully intact and reads With The Beatles

 

Please note my reflection can be seen on some of the pictures I have taken ... just thought I'd mention this incase this registers as imperfections

 

The inner sleeve could be the original
