Description
So, if you have a near mint vinyl record of the Beatles "Yesterday and Today" in mono, but you don't have a near mint cover, this one may be for you. This sale is for the cover and inner-sleeve only as there is no vinyl record with it.
This mono cover is quite lovely, as it still maintains its shrink and original price tag with it. With no seam splits, no wear ring, great colors, aa beautiful spine, nice corners, with just a touch of rubbing on the right ones, and a clean, bright white back, the cover is quite lovely.
Of special note, the top of George Harrison's hair, and the bottom of Paul's shoes, which on most copies show wear and rubbing, this copy has no wear on those parts at all, protected by the shrink. Also, the back cover where the photos of the Beatles albums are, there is no sign of wear as the photos are crisp and clean.
The original inner-sleeve is also beautiful, with no seam splits on the side or bottom, no finger tears, in fact, everything on it is crisp and clean all-around. The only negative I see is where on the lower right corner where a piece of shrink is missing, along that corner there is some flaking there; not sure why; so because of that, I grade this cover at near mint8 out of 10. But still, quite a lovely piece. I have 9 photos for you to look at.
