My two passions are, anything related to the Beatles records and memorabilia and Gum cards, mainly from the 60's.

However over the years in my quest to build a top end collection I have accumulated many duplicates in both RECORDS & CARDS.

This is a MEGA RARE GREEN LABEL DEMO by The Beatles titled Lady Madonna. !!!!! How often do you see these come up for auction ???? NOT very often at all. Only 250 of these records were supposedly ever issued and given to Record Executives, Musical Journalists and Radio DJ's. So how many can be left in existence today ???? Especially in this condition, I would say not very many at all. So here is your chance to be one of a very few collectors in the WORLD to own an ORIGINAL DEMO by The Beatles

This is a GENUINE 1st Press GREEN Demo issued on the 7/7/1967 on the GREEN Label with the large White A on side one.

CONDITION !!!!!!! I would easily grade this as an overall Ex+ copy of this record. Both sides of the Labels are in SUPERB condition with only the obvious signs of ageing. Both sides of the disc show very light marks They in NO WAY interfere with the FANTASTIC sound quality of this INCREDIBLY RARE RECORD. !!!!!!!! There are NO annoying CLICKS or POPS throughout the playing of both sides, background noise is only noticable during the run in and out grooves. A super copy of a super RARE record.

The Matrix Numbers are side 1: 7XCE-18438-3 Side 2: 7XCE-18439-2.

The Mother and Stamper numbers are Side 1: At 9 oclock 1, at 12 oclock KT and at 3 oclock G. Side 2: At 9 oclock 1, at 12 oclock KT and at 3 oclock G. All of these markings denote it as not only being a 1st Press but the G and 1 show it to be one of the very FIRST off the press. HOW RARE IS THAT ???????????????

I would not claim this to be the best copy of this record out there but I can ASSURE you there will not be many better. These DEMOS are slowly but surely being swallowed up into private collections so will be less available as time goes by. I am ONLY SELLING this record as I upgraded it a while ago to a near pristine copy and I am in the process of purchasing a very RARE record of theirs which I need funding for.

I paid a considerable amount of money for this record but will set no reserve and leave it in the lap of the gods. Though I PROMISE you will very, very RARELY see this record for sale again, and RARELY in this condition. So if your a Mega Beatles Fan or just a Lover of 60's Music in general then this is a MUST HAVE for your collection.
