Let It Be Promo 45 Dialogue, Fan Club Issue Only, 1970

Issued to fan club members only, way back in 1970, this Apple release is a rare one-sided promo, which includes 3 snippets of dialogue from the then soon-to-be-released film, “Let It Be.”  There weren’t very many of these manufactured, but to make matters worse, this 45 was bootlegged widely in the late 1970’s.  This is a perfectly legitimate copy.

Sleeve:  Comes in a company Apple sleeve in nice condition.  Has some  light wear, but no split seams.  The nice thing is that this 45 was not manufactured with those label serrations, and so the sleeve does not have the serrations wear that most Apple sleeves eventually suffer from.

Vinyl:  Beautiful vinyl.  The trail-off has both identifying markings as being machine-stamped from the factory, rather than the hand-etched attempts of the counterfeits.  See photos.  Both the asterisk and the target are stamped boldly.  Vinyl does have a moderate warp, plays fine.

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl.  However, I am happy to by request.  As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
