'LET IT BE'
RARE ORIGINAL *FRENCH* BOX SET
This extremely rare original FRENCH box-set comprises all of its original components. Its slipcase and inner trays were manufactured & imported from Germany. The book was from the UK and the LP was French. All these components are 100% original and appear here as they were original sold in France. None have been switched or exchanged.
Condition
Outer Slipcase
VERY GOOD
This rare German printed example is less glossy and constructed from slightly thinner card than its UK equivalent. It displays some general handling and storagewear, which is mostly confined mostly to the corners and uper edge. There is a 2cm repair to one of the rear edges and another to the top edge but it is overall clean and in-shape with no serious or major faults.
Trays
Outer: VERY GOOD
This again has some general handling and storage wear, chiefly to the exposed outer exposed edges and the fold-overflaps. There is a 2cm tear to one of the folds but no other major damage elsewhere.
Inner: EXCELLENT
A superb example of the set's most delicate component which remains clean, in-shape & fully intact with just the inevitable tiny stress tears to the corners where the book sits but no other wear or damage elsewhere. All the fold-over edges are fully intact and undamaged with no tears or missing sections.
Book
MINT
A perfect, unread example with an immaculate, unworn cover which bears no creases or damage. All pages are present with none loose or damaged. This copy really does look like it has just left the press.

A 1st pressing on the French dark green Apple Label: 2C 062-04433 Y
Housed in a French-made, fully laminated cover with a red Apple logo on the rear panel.

A superb set with no spindle marks to either. Label 2 has some small age-spots but no damage or wear to either.
Visual: MINT
Both surfaces are pristine and 'as new' with no marks or wear in strong daylight OR under halogen light.
Play: NEAR MINT
Apart from my careful play-check, this copy appears to be UNPLAYED. It sounds superb form start to finish with just a touch of normal/light background on the bands between tracks, but no other signs of wear.
LP Cover
NEAR MINT
An immaculate example with a pristine, undamaged high-gloss laminate front & rear with no creasing or wear to any part. All corners, both opening edges, seams & spine are in perfect, undamaged condition. You won't find better.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Apart from some foxing from to the label area, this is 'as new' with no writing, tears or splits.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
